Jamie Lau, owner of ECC has been mediating cases since 1996. She is a mediator, mediator trainer, communication coach, strategist and public, private and non-profit meeting facilitator. For eight years Jamie worked for two mediation services with the of City of Boulder. As a Mediator and Mediation Coordinator with Community Mediation Service, Mrs. Lau mediated multiple venues of disputes including: employee-employee, HOA and HOA boards, neighbor-neighbor, landlord-tenant, roommate-roommate and parent-teen. In 2002, Mrs. Lau co-created, implemented and managed Children, Youth and Family Mediation Program for the City of Boulder. As the Program Specialist Jamie oversaw 50+ volunteer mediators (adults and teens) and staff providing 100+ mediation sessions per year to residents of Boulder, non-profit agencies supporting youth and families in Boulder County, as well as parents and students attending Boulder County schools. Children, Youth and Family Mediation Program provided mediations for disputes between: teacher-teacher, domestic relations issues, family and parent-teen, extended family member disputes, employers with youth employees, employee- employee-employer and childcare providers-parents and school Restorative Justice Mediations for students, teachers and parents. |
